Description
Naga Morich is one of the hottest chili peppers in the world! With around 1,000,000 Scoville Units you could call this pepper "nuclear". Even there are 1,598,227 Scoville units measured in Naga Morich pods! That is four times as hot as a former World champion, the Red Saviana. Naga Morich means 'snake or serpent Chile’. This chili is almost like snake venom, as some people say! One drop of extract from this pepper needs more than one million drops of water to no longer be perceived as pungent anymore. The Naga Morich and its cousin Bhut Jolokia from India are closely related. The pods colour from green to yellow and end up red. After repotting it takes about 120 days before the peppers are mature. The plant can grow to 1 meter in height.
This chili pepper is extremely hot! Use plastic gloves when handling this pepper. Use is entirely at your own risk

Productive and potent
I've tried a few varieties and this one never fails to please. Good germination (in March under cover), excellent yield (in SW France planting out in May). Superb flavour with floral tones once cooked and as long as the dilution is correct (prefer 1mg of this to 3mg of Habanero for example). Compares very well with Carolina Reaper and easier to grow. Dries well, my friends in Scotland love to get them for Christmas!!
