Description
Galapagos Tomato is a wild tomato variety and belongs to the Lycopersicon Cheesemanii species. Most tomatoes we know belong to Solanum Lycopersicum species. Galapagos Tomato is a variety that grows freely on the Galapagos Islands. The tomatoes are small and mature to a yellow orange color. They have a good and typical, somewhat acid tomato flavor. Bushy plants grow to 1 – 2 meter in height. The plant is often been cross bred with regular tomatoes due to its resistance to a number of tomato pests.
