Description
This ornamental chili is very suitable for pots due to its small size. The plant is about 25 -30 cm in height. Aurora (Latin: dawn) lives up to its name. The mature plant has a rich variety of coloured pods, which are about 4 cm in length. Because the upright fruits mature at different times, purple, yellow, orange and red pods are present simultaneously. After repotting it takes 60 to 75 days to set fruit. The Aurora is an easy plant and among the first to come into fruit. The pods are very hot. While the Aurora is used mostly as an ornamental plant, the pods are edible.
