Description
Hinkelhatz or ‘chicken heart’ has its origin around 1880, when the German colony in Pennsylvania – also known as Pennsylvania Dutch or Penssylvania German – cultivated this chili pepper. The pods are about 5 by 2 cm and very suitable for pickling or making hot pepper vinegar.
