Description
Hybrid Jalapeno Jalafuego is very high yielding and one of the hottest Jalapeno varieties. This chili pepper is also resistant to Potato y-virus and 3 races of bacterial spot. The peppers are extra-large and around 10 cm long. The peppers are very dark green in the stage when they are usually eaten. The plants are large and sturdy. 70 days after repotting they are mature. Jalafuego is a top quality Jalapeno!

My favorite Jalapeno
I harvest them when they ripen fully red, the flavour is sweeter than when green, and is superb raw in salsa, or sliced onto pizza. They are consistently better than other jalapenos I've grown in the same garden in SW France over the last 5 years, they always germinate well at 29degC, seedlings grown on under lights until planted out in May.

Scherp, maar minder Jalapeno-smaak
In 2014 geprobeerd. Goede zaden, sloegen allemaal aan. Het werden mooie en makkelijke planten met een goede opbrengst. Fraaie, gave pepers die een flinke scherpte bleken te hebben. Echt veel scherper dan de 'normale' Jalapeno. Ik vond ze echter minder de kenmerkende Jalapeno-smaak hebben....
