Maldivian Heart Orange

The Maldivian Heart Orange chili pepper is an orange variant of the Maldivian Heart pepper. It originates from the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. While it shares a similar shape with the original red variety, it stands out with a more pronounced citrus-fruity flavour. The heat level of the Maldivian Heart Orange is on the higher end of average Habanero heat. These peppers ripen from green to vibrant orange, reaching about the size of a golf ball. They are versatile in the kitchen, ideal for hot sauces, salsas and powders. The plants can grow to a height of nearly 1,5 meter.
