Description
Aji Margariteno is a chili pepper variety originating from the Venezuelan island of Isla Margarita, after which it is named. They pods can be huge for a Capsicum Chinense variety, sometimes more than 40 grams, but on average about 30 grams. Expect peppers the size of a golf ball, often larger than that. It has thick flesh that tastes very fruity and has a Habanero heat level. The plant is very productive and the peppers will make a great sauce or seasoning as well.
