Description
Jan Antohi was a touring acrobat from Romania, who defected to the U.S.A. The story is that he missed his mother’s cooking. After the Soviet Union broke up he visited her again in Romania in 1991. He brought the seeds from this variety back to the U.S.A and from there the pepper found its way to many countries. The pepper is conically shaped and matures from pale yellow to orange, to red. It is a high yielding plant. The peppers are sweet and perfect frying peppers. Harvest: 55 days after repotting (yellow), 75 days (red).
