Description
Redskin F1 (also sold as Patio Red Skin F1) is a compact hybrid sweet pepper that grows to only about 40 cm tall. That makes it one of the best peppers for growing in containers on a patio or balcony, and it even does well in a hanging basket.
Despite its small size, the plant produces a surprisingly heavy crop of firm, sweet blocky peppers. The fruits ripen from glossy green to deep red and mature early in the season. Pick them green or let them turn red for a sweeter flavour: delicious raw in salads, stuffed, grilled or roasted.
Redskin F1 has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society, an award for varieties that perform reliably in the garden.
