Description
A heirloom variety that was brought to the United States by Italian migrants and ended up with Ralph Thompson. The compact plant produces an abundance of saucer-shaped peppers with strong ribbing. Pods are mildly to medium hot and grow to about 5 cm in height and 7-8 cm in diameter. Delicious in winter soups and stews. Great for pickling too or stuff them with cheese and grill them in the oven.
Name: Ralph Thompson's Squash Pepper
Species: Capsicum Annuum
